April 2008 Dive Tribe are the best outfit I've dived with. Professional. good kit, nice boats, very good divemasters. I loved El Gouna - try the tuk-tuks!

September 2008 The whole place is being rebuilt,a new marina or something diggers up and down the beach!! no house reef as it is under 2 ft of dirt and cerment.lots of dust in the hotels and not many resturant open. 2 hour drive from airport on dessert roads, will not go back till it has changed. What ever you do in the Red sea do not fly via Cairo airport!! we had to 'pay' 5 times to get bags though the 5 differant scanners without anyone actally whaching the screens!!!!The couple behind us had to 'pay' a armed/uniformed man just to be allowed to join the quew when he tried to complan the superviser demanded more money just to not drag them out of the line.

July 2006 El Gouna is near Hurghada some of the dive spots are very close. El Gouna is good to do the wrecks in The North.Giannis or SS Thistelgorm.

March 2008 Some lovely dive sites. Those further north (away from Hurghada) are the quietest and have the most reef fish.

October 2007 Went with the Dive Connection, great bunch would go back without hesitation.
