Located in: Mediterranean >> Croatia >> Cres, Krk, Prvc
A 60 meter greek cargo ship that sank during a heavy storm in 1968 near Klimno on the island of Krk. Locals call her Grk (Greek) because she sailed under the Greek flag. Today she is lying engulfed in muddy sand bottom at 32 meters of depth. You can quite safely pass through the empty cargo space. The iron hull is preserved while all wooden parts fell into decay a long time ago. If you are specially trained for wreck penetration you can enter the engine-room at the stern at the lower deck, by moving down the narrow stairs.

32m / 105ft
Accidental sinking: 08-Jan-1968 Wreck penetration is possible. Technical or decompression diving. More info...
Last 10 Diver reviews for Peltastis:
Great wreck which can be penetrated by advanced divers. Sometimes can get crowdy as it is a very popular dive site.
