Lampedusa Island is the southest part of Italy, a fantastic island lying in the Mediterranean Sea.
You can reach it by air via Milan, Rome, Bergamo, Palermo and Catania and by sea via Porto Empedocle.
There are lots of dive sites and you can enjoy them in warm waters and among many fishes; you can see turtles, dolphins, whales, sharks, groupers, lobsters, barracudas and a huge variety of sealife!
During your stay you can rent a motorbike and go along the island trying to discover white beaches and blue waters or you can visit WWF Turtles Center and appreciate the hard work of Daniela and of the volunteers helping turtles in trouble.
In the evening I suggest you a walk along Via Roma and a wonderful dinner in one of the many restaurants with fantastic seaview enjoying their Ialian food!!!
You can visit Lampedusa in spring, summer or in august and you'll find 3 complete different worlds..
There are many hotels, residences and a lot of restaurants and diving centers. When I went there I had a lot of fun!!!
