Dived in Cape Town in August 04 and Feb 05. Incredible diving. All diving from an inflatable boat. Huge reefs - shy sharks, pyjama sharks, seals, incredible gorgonians, anemones, corals. 7mm wetsuit required because water can get pretty cold. Some of the best diving that I have ever done. (I have over 1000 dives all over the planet). Also did great white dive in a cage in Gansbaai. Wow! This is a great place for a diving vacation but you have to be a pretty serious diver. No frills and no luxury here. But wild unspoiled diving with sights that you will never see anywhere else. Well worth a visit. On my first dive on the Atlantic side, we saw a sunfish but I did not take my camera!
