The old mine in silvberg, Gustafs is a big part of the historybooks in the region. People have been trying to find sources of sulfide there ever since the 15th century it seemes.

To dive in the nowadays caved in mine is a big experience. With depths up to 246,7m the waterfilled hole delivers a great deal of top-diving moments. On 18m on the far side of the biggest minehole theres a skelleton fully dressed in scubagear, there is a relentless number of cars dumped in the hole on different depts and even a boat is located in there.

The mine is easiest to find if you contact divers in the region. Buy contacting them you can easily get a road description from Stockholm and so forth.
