From April to September
From April until September Leatherback Turtles arrive on Tobago beaches to lay their eggs.
From May to November
Head to the east side of the Maldive atolls from May until November for the best sightings of Manta Rays; Hammerhead Sharks are common in the shallower waters.
From July to September
Off the northern Queensland coast of Australia, occasional Humpback Whale sightings occur from July to September.
From June to November
Humpback Whales are seen from June to November around Ningaloo Reef.

From June to November
June through November is the best time to see Manta Rays in the Yasawa Islands, Fiji.

Until September Humpback Whales nurse their young in the sheltered waters of Isle St. Marie in Madagascar.

Indian Ocean > Madagascar > Nosy Be Island
From July to September
Humpback Whales migrate from their feeding grounds in Antarctica along the New Zealand coast, to the Pacific Islands. In the waters around the islands of Tonga they stay from July to September to court, mate and calve.

Oceania > Tonga > Ha'apai
Oceania > Tonga > Tongatapu
From July to September
July to mid-September you will find Green, Leatherback and Hawksbill Turtles in Costa Rica's Tortuguero National Park.

Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico > Costa Rica (east) > Tortuguero
From July to October
Southern Right Whales arrive into the bays of both South Africa's coast and Australia's south coast to calve, where they stay until October.

Hammerhead Sharks most active in the Cocos and Malpelo Islands from July through October.

Tropical Eastern Pacific > Costa Rica (west) > Cocos Islands
From July to September
The islet-dotted waters of Canada’s west coast is perhaps the best place in the world to see Orca Whales, they will be here until early September.
From August to October
Humpback Whales heading south to the Antarctic can be found off the Australian coast from now until the end of October.

Eastern Canada’scoast is home to Northern Right, Minke, Humpback, and Fin Whales between now and the end of September.

August to October sees mainly female Humpback Whales and their young around the island of Rurutu, Tahiti.

September sees the coral spawning in Bonaire.

From September to October
The Cook Islands' whale season is September and October.
Look in these dive locations:
Oceania > Cook Islands > Rarotonga

In Tahiti, Rangiroa large numbers of Manta Rays are visible right through until October.

Green Turtles start hatching in Sipadan, Malaysia.

The unusual Mola-Mola, or Sun Fish can be found in the waters around Bali in Indonesia from September through to November.

Whalesharks can be seen off Utila usually from Feb - May and Aug - Nov Most dive centres will look for whalesharks whilst carrying out surface interval between dives.

Searching for hammerheads to photograph. There are rumors that schools of hammerheads can be located around Isla de la Plata and off the coast of Salinas.
From January to December
Schools of Barracudas, jackfish, green sea turtles, olive rydles, hawksbill turtles and bottle nised dolphins are seen the whole year round. The island waters get occassional visits from pilot whales, whale sharks and sometimes hammerhead sharks in deeper areas. - ping (local diver)
